“IPFS Haiku” is about a future, still-in-the-works decentralized web. This decentralized web is theoretically permanent because it is built on the InterPlaneray File System (IPFS) protocol. The IPFS protocol allows for peer-to-peer hosting of files and a complex hash tree system that generates a unique identifier for every piece of content. On an IPFS network, content is assigned an identity so it can stick around.
What will it feel like to inhabit this new web? I hope there’s a beach.
